Consulting

I worked with UNCG on a wine-industry hospitality training program called WINEHOST. This training program is the industry standard for North Carolina Wineries.

The Challenge: To create secure, branded packaging for our wine club members that was stylish, functional and met our strict storage needs.

The Solution: I worked with Packaging Corporation of America to develop a box that would hold the required six bottles, was secure and easy to hold, and stackable on a pallet or bin that could be stored vertically saving valuable storage space in our cellar. The finished product met all of our needs and resulted in a cost savings of more than 25%.

My management experience spans both Fortune 500 as well as large and small private, corporate business with a specialization in on-premise hospitality and retail, including more than twelve years at one of North Carolina’s premium wineries.

Private Label

We worked with Winston-Salem restaurant Quanto Basta on a private label wine. I drove the project from the concept phase to the label design to wine list fixture. The company opened a second location in 2020.
